In 2009, I started chicka-d out of my parents' garage. As a former college cheerleader, I saw a huge opportunity to bring something new to women’s collegiate apparel — pieces that felt softer, looked better, and actually fit how we wanted.
Since then, my all-female design team and I have been on a mission to create the softest, most trend-forward essentials out there.
Fast forward to today, chicka-d has grown beyond the college market and is now in over 2,000 stores across the U.S. — and we're just getting started!
