What is your favorite school tradition? I don't have a favorite. I love everything about Georgia. From dressing up and tailgating on gamedays to the nightlife of Athens. It is always so alive and non-stop. Our campus is beautiful, the school is great, and there are so many fun people to meet.

Why did you choose your school? The University of Georgia is a great school, probably one of, if not the, best school in Georgia. I feel like our school has it all… academics, sports, social, and everything in between. On top of it being an amazing school, I have a huge love for the town of Athens. It’s a city thriving on music, art, nightlife, and of course UGA. Sports are huge at my school and that is something that brings students and faculty, as well as the town and state of Georgia together. I knew coming here that I would not only get a good education, but I would be able to experience everything a true college town has to offer.

Why did you want to join the chicka-d team? It was simple. I have a love for advertising, promoting, and planning. I have a love for fashion, clothes, and of course the University of Georgia. I think all of those things thrown together make up the job of a campus rep for chicka-d. This job will be a good experience and something to learn and take from. I love meeting new people, and know I can do great things for chicka-d!

What makes a great chicka-d? A great chicka-d has a strong passion and enthusiasm for her school. Not just her school, but for people as well. Chicka-d is a brand, a label, a reputation, and a fashion statement, and it takes a outgoing and fanatical person to promote that. A great chicka-d is dedicated to the company as well as her school. She is hard working, independent, and has a love for fashion!

What is your gameday style? Being comfortable on gameday is an ABSOLUTE must, especially living in the South. However, at UGA and most southern schools, gameday is about fashion too. UGA girls love getting dressed up, especially when wearing their colors. Although I strutted around in an uncomfortable dress and wedges for 12 hours on gameday as a freshman, I quickly learned you can be comfortable while still being cute. My gameday style is a lightweight dress, normally red or black, and I like to jazz it up with some accessories. A style that has really been trending among the ladies of UGA is wearing a UGA jersey and jean shorts. It hasn’t really been big till this past year but we’re starting to see more and more girls rock their UGA black or red football jersey and a pair of jean shorts, comfy and still very gameday.

Who is your school's biggest rival? Well, we haven’t done so well in past years against this team, but the University of Florida will probably always be our biggest rival because of our infamous Georgia/Florida game. The whole town of Athens packs up and drives down to St. Simons and Jacksonville for the weekend and it gets very intense between the UGA and UF fans. This “weekend” has also been named “The Worlds Largest Cocktail Party,” and it surely is.

What is the biggest game of the year? Our biggest game of the season will be the UGA v. South Carolina game, which is our second game of the season (@ UGA). Whichever team wins this game will most likely have the inside track for the SEC East division crown, which will lead to getting to play in the SEC Championship game.

What do you want to be when you grow up? I am a sports fanatic, so I am very interested in sports advertising. I love the public relations aspect of it as well, so I am hoping to do PR, such as event planning and coordinating for a sports team or company.
